"The hotel has a lakeview but only from the roof top restaurant. If you want to be closer to the centre of Udaipur and the beautiful city palace then choose a different hotel. The Lake View Palace is opposite the Chunda Palace Hotel which is a 4*/5* hotel and every night I was staying at the Lake View there was a loud music event at the Chunda Palace which was very noisy. "Incredible little hotel in Udaipur! The staff were incredibly helpful and very friendly. They did their very best to make you feel at home. There was a beautiful rooftop terrace where you could have home cooked meals. The only issue is that the wifi only really worked on the terrace, not in our room. Wish we could have stayed longer! So far, our favourite hotel in India! "

"Our family of four spent three nights at the Hotel Aashiya Haveli! We loved it there. The location is great, in the heart of where you want to stay (Lal Ghat) and there’s a great view of the lake from the roof. The room was spacious, clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. Overall, it was very mellow and pleasant. Sometimes it was a little hard to find staff but that was never a big issue."
