"The Hyatt House is a great place to stay. The staff were friendly and the room we had faced the bay, which we requested, for additional fee from the Expedia priced room, which faced the train station. It was near some stores and walkable mall. The breakfast bar had the typical eggs, sausage and hotcakes but it had the full complement of cereals and fruits."

"Hotel Griffon was a quaint hotel with lots of charm. It gives the vibes of a much older San Francisco. The staff were lovely and couldn’t help but to enjoy our stay. The location of the hotel was perfect for checking out the local scene as it was close to all the San Francisco touristy spots. A couple of notes of improvement however; there was no control over the temperature in our rooms and the accessibility to our rooms were ridiculously frustrating. The rooms utilized a key card slide system...

"This was the first time I had stayed at the Hyatt and my mom's first time in San Francisco. From the time we checked in and were helped bring our bags to our room, we were incredibly happy. The service was amazing. Every staff member we interacted with was fantastic and very kind. The room was lovely and cozy. The location was great; it was right in the middle of everything which made it easy to stay busy. We will definitely be returning to the Hyatt!"

"Walkable distance to most piers including Alcatraz Landing Pier 33. Many food options in the area. The noise level can get high at night as hotel faces 7-Eleven and near busy streets. We found our junior suite comfortable and spacious for a family. We don’t have any complaints. Stay would be better if breakfast was offered especially now that you will be charged for parking. We parked at the hotel but we saw plenty of public parking nearby and cheaper."
