"I liked staying in a historic place. The room was clean enough. The parking was fine. The staff was helpful but a little rough around the edges. I just thought the room was too plain for its surroundings and the price. It was quiet, though."

"Great staff. Very large suite with superb kitchen amenities. The hotel overnight parking spaces are narrow, and on Saturday night, there was no room for my vehicle. But the staff at night was very helpful, and I was able to use a spot outside of the gated area. Breakfast offerings were of good quality for being complimentary. Recommended!"

"This hotel has no amenities and no hotel staff. Also no parking and no valet, even to store luggage. It has one very slow elevator,
There was a bar/restaurant, but it was closed most of the day every day, and then completely closed all day Saturday for a private party. That private party lasted until 1:30a and the sound was so loud you could hear it 3 floors away.
The only upside is that the rooms are fine. Not amazing but fine.
If things the only place you can find that is affordable on a...

"Excellent check - in. Holly was so lovely and helped me with taxis... and information about local restaurants.
There was a fire alarm at 6:30 a.m. the next morning. I was in the shower and had to quickly dry off and get dressed...that was a bit scary! but all ok.
The breakfast each day were very good... hot and a good selection . with good coffee.

"I liked everything about this place except for the person who checked us in, she was rude and confrontational. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and never been questioned as to my ID the way this woman did. I felt like I was being interrogated. She needs to have someone teach her the meaning of being in customer service."

"Finding the hotel in downtown Pittsburgh was a bit overwhelming. The check-in is located on floor 25. However, the elevators worked quickly, the decor was old but lovely, the room was nice. The breakfast was astonishing with a chief preparing our eggs as ordered! A parking garage is within a half block of the hotel side-street door and it is cheaper than any other options."
