The hotel and surrounding property were beautiful. It is a new hotel set in the summer home of a past Italian king with vineyards and a forest to walk through. The hotel breakfast buffet was quite large, especially by Italian standards and everything was made fresh and delicious. The restaurant hotel had excellent food and we ended up eating there two nights because we enjoyed the first one so much.

We had a wonderful experience at the beautiful hotel with its amazing staff. However, we did face an issue: the air conditioning did not work during our five-day stay, and it was over 90 degrees outside. As a result, we had to purchase small fans to help us sleep comfortably.

The area around the property is beautiful with rolling hills of vineyards. We had a large patio made private with shrubs. Our room was large and comfortable, modern and very clean. Nice spa-type amenities in the room including a shower head with multiple settings, body balm, jar of face mask, fragrant shampoo and conditioner. A 6 bottle wine cabinet was in the room with an extra charge to use the wine. Free bottled water in the room. The staff helpful. We would definitely return to this exceptional property.

Take care of your car..it can be damaged easily

It could have been a good stay but unfortunately due to a bad management and poor cooperation level, my review is one of the worst I ever shared. If you leave your car just outside of the building be prepared as it might get damaged overnight and suddenly nobody will help you with that nor assist you. Apparently cameras are out of service (and from the picture you could clearly see a camera pointing right on the direction of my car, so maybe it’s a fake one?..that’s a different topic though..maybe a lawyer could help with that). I even asked when arrived if the car was ok parked that way as the drive way is quite narrow. The young lady at front desk offered her help but obviously she was not able to help a lot but she did her best, the management that should have called me back the same day of course did not ring back..so unprofessional! It is not acceptable whatsoever to leave a car in pristine conditions outside of a so called 4* hotel to find it the following morning with a damage and on top of that no explanation nor support from the direction. I would have given 0 if possible, but it could have been a nice experience as well. Not worthy, that’s my honest opinion: wanting to have a nice experience and instead you get an expensive damage on a brand new car!

Hieno linnamainen hotelli, joka on modernisoitu.

Varmasti alueen hienoimpia hotelleja. Huoneet siistejä ja meidän huoneeseen kuului myös pieni terassi. Upea myymälä ja suhteellisen kiva ravintola. Michelin tähden paikka oli kiinni. Erikoisin suihku, jonka olen nähnyt. Henkilökunta puhuu englantia vaihtelevasti. Meille 100% oikea valinta.

Hotel davvero molto curato e pulito. Stanze con arredamento di alto livello. contesto splendido: una tenuta di 120 ettari dove sono presenti due ristoranti, l’osteria e il loro stellato di altissimi livello, le cantine fontanfredda e mirafiore e wine shop. Dopo un piccolo disguido, L hotel ci ha coccolati tantissimo e con grande professionalità hanno risolto prontamente (grazie Alice e Irene!)… il giro in cantina merita tantissimo. Siamo stati accompagnati dalla preparatissima Martina! Per non parlare del loro splendido wine shop dove e possibile degustare e acquistare i loro vini. Troverete il pezzo forte della struttura: Cristina… grazie ancora per questo weekend stupendi. A presto

Low season ghost town

The room and estate was very beautiful. But we found to be very alone there. It's fun to be the only guest but one day when we got back around six there was no one at the reception and none of the estates many restaurants were open, we couldn't find anyone anywhere and we couldn't drive anywhere. If you don't come with own car or had too much wine to drive the hotel is very far from everything. So very beautiful but if you travel during low season make sure you have your key with you and some dinner.

Great Hotel - great breakfast.

Great hotel, in a great location. Breakfast was outstanding. All the food prepared fresh from local ingredients means that the choices varied depending on what was available, but all tasted amazing.

Very clean. Staff super helpful. Food was amazing. Outdoor seating/laying out area was swarmed with wasps ( seemed to be a nest in the tiles ). Air conditioning barely worked. If it wasn’t for the AC, I would give higher marks.

Wonderful experience!!

Every year I take a small tour of Langhe, this time I was alone with my dog and I tried this hotel, absolutely the best I've been in this region, it's kind of a Resort, there are many things to do, 3 restaurants, a wonderful garden, Fontanafredda Winery...the room was perfect, staff very nice and helpful, quality of food very high...I'm looking forward to come back!!thank you!!
