"What an incredible refuge in Barcelona! The location is perfect. We were adjacent to the Gothic Quarter, and across from the yacht harbor. Spectacular. Above all, the service level was shockingly great. We were treated like royalty - not like indulgent Americans, but like appreciated family. We could not have possibly asked for anything more. The experience was gracious, patient, upscale and luxurious. Thank you for supplying an excellent home base for us in your beautiful city!"

"Het is echt een eenvoudige kamer. Verwacht vooral geen luxe. Bij mij liepen de voegen in de badkamer er een beetje uit. Dat zag er soms wat apart uit. Douche was klein maar verder prima in gebruik. Dames van de housekeeping waren ook erg aardig. Het ontbijt in het hotel aan de overkant was enorm goed verzorgd! Dat maakt het verblijf helemaal goed! Personeel is ook aardig en behulpzaam. Ik kwam er niets tekort. "

"This place is really about the view to the Alhambra which was superb! The room was big. The bed was “okay”, but the fitted sheet didn’t fit very well and in the middle of the night they kept coming off… we had to get up and try to put them back on. The proprietor gave us very good directions on where to be dropped off by the taxi. It is a walk down stairs so definitely be sure to bring luggage that can be rolled along a rocky/aggregate terrain. "This place is very clean and the staff was courteous and helpful. It has a cozy porche and a beautiful courtyard sitting area to enjoy. The breakfast selection was excellent. It needs some minor maintenance issues, such as loose floor tiles in the room and the shower knobs. A couple of suggestions: an extra powder-toilet space for the second floor and a sink in the kitchen area. It's located within walking distance to Parque Güell and Sagrada Familia.
