The breakfast buffet option had a variety of fresh foods and it was all delicious. The staff were very kind and professional. The room was spacious and nice. The hotel had a very cozy charm and atmosphere. The location was great, super close to the station and it was easy to walk to many nice places. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Monterey Sendai. It has an old world charm, and the spa on the top floor is delightful. It is very close to the central train station and in a fantastic part of the city. Highly recommend the hotel- we would definitely stay there again.

The hotel room was reasonably clean. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. There is no A/C in the room. Even in early November our room was hot and stuffy. In general the air in the hotel and our room had a slight odor. We had to keep the window cracked open in our room all the time to get air flow. Also, the hotel could use updating. It was close to the train station though and the breakfast buffet was good.
