"Loved the hotel, we were there for one night, check in was extremely smooth, the room was very pretty – loved the complimentary sherry and fruit in the room, and we had a wonderful view of the sea. "Lovely lodge right on the beach. Quaint lodge rooms were very comfortable but ceilings are slopped so not good if you are tall. Brilliant shower but getting a little worn, still loved it. Food on the premises good and reasonable, friendly staff."

"It’s a good 3 star hotel with lovely staff. With an injection of cash and more staff training (plenty available but lacking attention to detail) it could become a really good 4 star. The big let down was the poor shower and dated bathroom. But it’s one of those hotels that you just want to to do better "

"We loved this place! The ocean view from our room was spectacular. We checked out a few other places in town that are more expensive and the view from the Linhof is the best! Breakfast was excellent. Shirley, the manager who runs this place, merits special mention. She helped us get our bags upstairs, served us our breakfast and always had a smile and a kind word.
