Hotel is good value, room was spacious but quite tired, with some fixtures basically falling to bits. The main issue was the noise from the two nearby bar/ nightclubs. Really loud until at least 2, 3 in the morning. Just extremely odd having clubs nearby what is clearly not a holiday resort Hotel. The breakfast was also quite an experience, well presented and lot's of choice, most of which was barely edible. For another taste, it might of been okay, but i struggled to find a single thing that i could deal with. It's a great Hotel, but needs a major refurbishment and the attached bars should stop serving at midnight or at least keep the music to less than deafening. Alas, I won't be returning, the lack of sleep was not acceptable.

Ok but not good

The hotel is OK but the bedding and pillows are not good. Also, there is a bar close to the hotel and the music was very old even at the 15th floor, I couldn’t sleep because of that. The gym and pool area are very good, the spa is good also.

This was one tired looking hotel. From outside you see grand hotel and think this must be a nice place. The lobby looks good too. But when you walk around you can see how much maintenance is needed the tiles if the shower by the pool was fallen off. There was garbage on the bottom of the pool. The sealing paint was falling off in the restaurant area. I think a tired hotel is the best description I can give. It looks like they make their money from groups traveling from tours or school outing and conventions. The dinner at the buffet was very bad. Breakfast was good.

Excellent Hotel , very friemdly personnel

We stayed on the 17th floor. The rooms were clean and comfortable, offering a bird's-eye view of the whole city of Konya. The hotel personnel were very friendly and helpful. They even offered free breakfast, although it wasn't included in the room fee. The location, cleanliness, and hospitality were all excellent.

Fabulous, fantastic, amazing

It exceeded our expectations, we had booked a room with two separate beds, but they gave us a corner and king room. We were surprised by such good behavior. The behavior of all the staff and the reception was good and respectful, the breakfast was amazing, I will come back to this hotel again and recommend it to everyone.

Good value for money

Impressively big establishment that might have seen better days but once must have been the pride of Konya. Today it is a bit worn but staff are doing there best to take care of you. A spectrum of services are offered such as Spa, Gym and an indoor and outdoor pool etc. Rooms are of great size but also a bit worn. Clean I would say in most areas.

This property was a mess. Things were falling apart, the staff was not helpful at all. The incredibly loud music for most of the night and the smell of smoke that came into the overly warm room. And to top it off the staff served cold food for breakfast and helped themselves to it as well.

Decent but with disappointments

The hotel is good, the room was comfortable and quiet. But the stay was not without its problems. First, it advertises an airport shuttle. I'd emailed the hotel to ask if our flight could be met. I didn't get a reply which was probably a good clue that there would be no bus waiting when our flight arrived. We never saw a bus on the two days we were there and had to get a taxi back to the airport for our flight out. It was no fault of the hotel that the taxi we then had to get chose to take us instead to the 'Grand Millenium Hotel'. We got to the Grand and checked in. I'd asked for a non-smoking room and with this request, the hotel had replied confirming this was what we would get. But we opened our room door to find a smoke-infested room (no.305) - any longer than a couple of minutes in it and our clothes would have stank of it. We returned to reception. There were no rooms available, they said, we'll have the room cleaned. Believe me, the room would have needed about a fortnight to be 'desmoked'. We held our ground and eventually were offered a handicapped room, which turned out to be ok. And another problem was returning to the room on day two. The key didn't work, downstairs we went to get it reprogrammed. It didn't work then either and only worked after two return visits to the front desk. I'd stayed here three years ago and don't remember such a lack of English then: there didn't seem to be anyone on the front desk who did. Yes, I should learn Turkish!
