This hotel in an inexpensive option close to the airport. My (long) flight arrived very late evening and all I needed was a nearby location to catch up on sleep. Taxi was organized. It suited my needs well. Would not do so if you're fussy and willing to pay more. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was worthy of any five star hotel.

This was a great stay, we came in late after a long flight and just wanted a place to crash for the night before heading south. It was quiet, clean and cool: we had AC and bed was comfy: a private shower/bathroom. My host was lovely and got up early to make us HUGE breakfast before we caught the train in Colombo. He arranged our (reasonably priced) taxi to the station and gave us free fresh bananas from his yard for the ride. 10/10 for the quick stay. Thanks again

Peaceful night's sleep and friendly staff

Peaceful nice rest in a nearby airport hotel. The AC is cold, room very clean, food is great. The manager was ver helpful and assisted is without day trip plans. We were able to store our luggage here after check out. Nothing super fancy with this hotel. But a friendly staff, and quiet evening makes a difference when you have a long day of travel. We had a long layover and only stayed 1 night But will be staying here again, should we visit Colombo.

The staff/manager were incredibly friendly and helpful. The manager went out of his way to help me out and gave me tons of tips on what sites to see and places to visit. He also helped out when my driver couldn't find the place. The hotel itself is very simple and a bit old. The room was clean and had the basics. It was a bit noisy, but that was from people in the courtyard, so it could have been just because of the other guests that were there at the same time. It worked at well for me as I was only there for one night and not even 12 hours, and while the location is pretty far from the action and somewhat difficult to find, it is very close to the airport, which is convenient.
