"Extremely convenient location near train station & bus lines. Rooms are refurbished with new furniture & fresh paint & well-working AC & wifi. The elevator is very convenient for luggage. Desk is fully staffed all day but English & ability to deal with online bookings take some time & effort. Bring screenshots of online bookings for best results."

"There was no notification of how to get in if you arrive late. When my flight came in after midnight, I went straight to the hotel. I called the hotel, but nobody picked up the phone. There was no buzzer, or indication of how to contact the hotel after hours. My worst nightmare!
Nobody cared enough to think about how I will get in. And to add insult to injury, there was a fence at least 4 meters high or 5 meters high, to keep me from getting inside. Eventually, I had to call the local police,...

"I have no problem with the hotel but hotels.com. I could not check in immediately after I arrived because the hotel did not receive any notification from hotels.com. Then I contacted the customer service but it also failed to resolve the issue. The agent even asked me the phone number of the hotel so she/he can contact them. So so disappointed with hotels.com"

"This beautiful hotel combines the charm of a historic building with modern comforts. The food is delicious, the staff are warm and friendly, and they are always happy to help arrange drivers and train journeys. But what truly makes this hotel special is its exceptional hospitality.
When I stayed here last year, I had just bought some Indian clothes and was struggling to figure out how to wear them. The ladies at the front desk and in housekeeping kindly helped me. When they noticed I had no pin...

"Property was very well situated and is a quirky heritage hotel. Staff were very helpful. Room was spacious but dated. Bathroom was terrible. Toilet leaked. Very little hot water. Shower was above the bath taps which made it very difficult to stand under. Apart from the bathroom, we enjoyed our stay and overall was good value for money if you like a heritage hotel"
