"They are going to build a new hotel. The hotel is old and things are broken terribly worn out. I don’t recommend this place to anyone"

"It was a decent place to stay. Not fancy or super modern. I only had a couple small gripes and they are very minor. Our room had a ton of 110v outlets on one side of the bed only which made phone charging and plugging in my CPAP machine challenging. The other was only one of the lights in the main part of the room worked. Other than that it was clean and did the job for what we needed."

"Lovely place in quiet setting with just the sound of the ocean waves to lull us to sleep. Hospitable and attentive staff. Comfortable room with expansive view to ocean. Guest rooms in different corners of the lodge to give privacy. Generous breakfast. Pathway directly to beautiful beach. Would stay again if back in Newport area. "

"Our room was upgraded from a studio to a 1 bedroom. Gave us a much better view of the ocean. Was a little further walk from the parking lot, but they were happy to provide assistance with what we brought since even walking a little further and up about 6 steps is s little challenging. The space was very nice and clean. Would've been great for a stay longer than 2 nights because of full kitchen. We probably would've used it more than we did. The biggest downside was that it had a tub/shower...

"We needed a great getaway to just relax for a short bit ... and this place was perfect. The walk to the beach was doable, but we enjoyed sitting up near the building in the sun watching people walking on the beach as the sun and gentle breeze refreshened us! We enjoyed drinks outside and inside the bar which whipped up some delightful surprises for us. Shout outs to Leo!"

"We stayed one night in the Drama room. Very lovely themed hotel. Plenty of books to borrow and even a quiet library space on the top floor. Many options for food and shopping within walking distance. Be aware there is no elevator. Charming place."

"Great ocean view from the 2nd floor room and the complimentary breakfast in the morning was delicious with self made waffles with the two waffle makers! I also got yogurt, bagel, string cheese, fruit and juice but there's also cereal & coffee + hot cocoa. In a separate building, there's a good sized swimming and a hot tub but unfortunately during my stay, the hot tub jets weren't working.
