"I stayed one night at Mangrove Lodge and overall had a very nice experience. The property is a beautiful, secluded compound with a really peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The lodge itself is very nice and well-maintained. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. There are two things future guests should know: First, the road to the lodge is in terrible condition - because of it, it takes a full 15-20 minutes just to get to the compound from the main road. Be prepared for a very bumpy, slow drive. Second, my only complaint about the lodge itself was that there was a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke in the room. I believe they allow smoking in the rooms. Despite those two points, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it if you're looking for a quiet, secluded getaway with great service."

"The resort was very clean and well maintained, there was a peacefulness which you would not get in the more busier resorts. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Only thing I would say is that the dinner service was quite slow, however food was quite good."
