"Great location, most tourists places within a 10 minute walk in all directions. Disappointed with the breakfast room, very small and not enough tables when busy. On the first day the breakfast was also available on a 2nd floor however this was then closed for the remaining part of our stay meaning we had to wait for a table to become free, member of staff said this was normal when it was busy but doesn’t really help when you want breakfast. Room check in is 3pm, on arrival we were told they would send a message when the room was ready however we didn’t receive a message. "

"The staff were excellent from the moment we arrived, slightly hot and bothered. The staff member’s calm hello and quick glass of port got us in the right mood! The hotel is a beautiful boutique. We had a balcony room with a garden view and it was spacious, with more cupboard/drawer space than normal. The bed was very comfy and everything worked well. The bathroom was the only thing that let it down - the shower door didn’t fit properly so the shower leaked every time we used it, and the glass door to the bathroom didn’t close properly so there wasn’t much sound proofing between the room and the bathroom. Breakfast was 10/10. Lots of healthy (and unhealthy!) options, and fresh eggs cooked to order. Location is excellent, just outside the centre of the centre, within a short walk of all the major attractions. Overall very pleased and would highly recommend. "
