"This place was a hidden jewel. The room was big had a balcony had a good hot shower big window to open. The entire place has a wonderful old time charcter had wonderful morning service. The restraunt downstairs was a bonus after traveling it was nice just to be able to go downstairs and have very good food. "

"A beautiful apartment that was cleaned daily with everything you needed for a stay. We didn’t use the mini bar but it was reasonably priced. Pina was so helpful and gave us recommendations and booked a restaurant for us. The apartment is situated in a great location, close to the beach and restaurants and if you have a car plenty of parking nearby - we paid for parking but it was reasonably priced. Highly recommended for visiting Trapani and the local area! Thank you for a wonderful stay! "

"The Fiveplace Design Suite and Apartments is located in the historic center of Trapani. It’s a very minimalist hotel with very modern, clean and comfortable features. Francesco, the owner and manager, is exceptional! He is very professional and helpful and ensures you have everything you need. This is a great place to stay as you’re in the middle of the shops and walking streets and port, all right there! Great place and kudos to Francesco for his excellent care and professionalism!"

"The breakfast options were varied, including healthy options and local foods. The room was extremely clean and the space had a gorgeous view of the ocean. The best part though was our host, he was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful, providing several restaurants and activity recommendations for the area as well as suggestions for elsewhere on our trip. "The hotel, staff, breakfast, bathroom and bedroom were all very good. The poor rating is because it's impossible to get a decent sleep! The stairs up to my room and a cluster of other rooms are made of wood, so when one group of guests came home at 1:05am, I'm woken up just by their footsteps clomping and echoing on the wooden stairs. Then at 3:41am, a family leaves early for the airport, so I'm re-awoken, again by the stairs. No one was rude or yelling or drunk. The design makes it inevitable...

"Extremely Disappointing Stay in Apartment No. 7 I stayed for three nights in Apartment No. 7 and, unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. The property had a pervasive sewer odor throughout the apartment, making it extremely unpleasant to stay in. Cleanliness and maintenance were far below acceptable standards. The bedspreads appeared unwashed, the bathroom sink was clogged, and the shower was in poor condition with a leaking, malfunctioning faucet. The mattress in the bedroom...

"Host was very diligent in reaching out for our arrival. Excellent communications. Room was unique and roomy. The attached restaurant was superb. Host was very helpful in identifying parking, as the hotel is located on a pedestrian street."

"This is a great hotel in many ways: staff, breakfast nice room, comfortable, view... but there are two notable problems. First, despite the Expedia website saying this hotel has "free offsite parking", it does not. Staff very kindly recommended parking, but it isn't free. Second, the neighborhood of this hotel is plagued by a gang of roaming youth who throw fireworks, some of which are very loud. No one in the area seems able to contain this problem and it is very disturbing."
