"This place is amazing! My wife and I were on a budget and looking for a getaway for our anniversary, and this place nailed it! The bathrooms and bedrooms were average and a little quirky, which is to be expected for the age of the property. The bed was average. But the place was CLEAN and well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful. And you can’t beat the location. Also, the homemade ice cream was soooo good! Definitely recommending to friends and family. "

"This is an old-style motor lodge one would find on a U.S. Highway in the 50s or 60s. The decor shows it. If you are seeking a fancy, glitzy resort, go elsewhere. "The description on Expedia didn't do it justice. There was a very nice midsize refrigerator and a microwave. The room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I was disappointed in was that they tried to charge me an extra 10% fee over the price I paid Expedia when I checked in. The clerk said she would ask about taking it off and they did not pursue it so far. The desk clerk was pleasant and courteous. They made up the room without me asking! "The room was clean, and I mean surgical clean. I am one of those crazy people that check a room with a flashlight, and I couldn't find a speck of dust or a water spot in the bathroom. Staff is friendly, courteous and accommodating. Great little motel. There are a couple of community fire pits, free marshmallows to make smores, a couple of hacky sack games.
