"This place is amazing! My wife and I were on a budget and looking for a getaway for our anniversary, and this place nailed it! The bathrooms and bedrooms were average and a little quirky, which is to be expected for the age of the property. The bed was average. But the place was CLEAN and well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful. And you can’t beat the location. Also, the homemade ice cream was soooo good! Definitely recommending to friends and family. "

"The property appeared to be in great shape overall. The lobby, hallways and room were clean. The area around the hotel was quiet. There is shopping and restuarants nearby. Breakfast was available (7am/Sunday). However, we left before it started. If we are in the area again, we would stay here again."

"This is an old-style motor lodge one would find on a U.S. Highway in the 50s or 60s. The decor shows it. If you are seeking a fancy, glitzy resort, go elsewhere. If you want a clean, safe, convenient hotel, go here. The staff are friendly. The rooms are clean, but dated. They service the room every day! And restock your coffee! "Everything was just so beautiful, from the gardens, the art in the home and the layout of the home! Our host, Rose, was so serene and kind. She gave us wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and activities, she was wonderful! Our breakfasts were delicious, locally sourced, hearty and decadent. The spa was one of the best massages I have ever had! We will definitely return! "
