"Plain room. Carpets definitely need to be steam cleaned. Very minimal amenities. Good for an overnight waiting on a flight, but would not recommend for a lengthy stay. The highlight was that the breakfast had a great assortment of foods and beverages."

"The room was a bit more basic and bathroom less modern than other Van der Valk hotels but was well located for my husband to do a “Z” Parkrun! Added bonus was the inclusion of entry to the bird park the hotel is next to - we really enjoyed our visit there in the morning!"

"From arrival to departure we couldn’t fault this hotel . Staff was friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble . Room spacious, clean , good facilities . Ate in the restaurant which was great and the breakfast was full of choice and plentiful. Left early on the last day and we were given 2 cool bags with wide variety of foods . Highly recommend staying here ."

"Enjoyed the brief stay, ideally located as it is a stone's throw from the train, Metro and Tram stop, cash point next door, easy to get to the Eurostar as well. Also the food in the restaurant next door was delicious. Recommended."
