I think the pictures made it seem a little nicer than the actual place. It's an older property... the beds were very soft & comfortable but maybe that's because I was tired from hiking. ☆☆☆☆☆ Breakfast Overall, I'd describe the facilities as "rustic" but still a good value for the reasonable price

our room was spacious and clean. The room did not have a hairdryer, so bring your own. Soap is childrens soap, for what reason ever. What we didn't like, breakfast didn't start until 8 am, it could start a little earlier. Breakfast was nothing fancy, some bread and bread rolls, Cereals, Marmelade, Cheese, Sausage, scrambled eggs and different vegetables, coffee, tea, milk and juices. I would have loved to see some local bread from a bakery (since there is literally one down the street) for breakfast and not ' cheap' bread from Aldi. The Hotel is close to sightseeing, like the Königssee... A Busstop is 2 min from the Hotel. Some improvements need to made by the owner. Overall, the Hotel is ok to sleep at and stay a few nights.

Great location

Good location a few minutes drive from Königssee which was stunning. Great view from our room window of the kehlsteinhaus. The room was ok, although the bathroom was tight. The beds were comfortable.

Convenient location and clean room. The staff was very friendly and we had a nice balcony. The shower was clean but very small. We stayed on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. Beds were comfortable.

A pleasant surprise

Fast check in, almost felt being rushed. Room is clean, beds are comfortable, bathroom is clean, breakfast was decent, no one at the checkout so I left the key at the front.

Four day stay

No service at all. Only saw staff once during our three nights, no one spoke German or English. Boring breakfast. Hot in the room, no fan or A/C. Only one bottle of soap, had to move it between shower and sink. No shampoo or conditioner or other toiletries at all. No waste basket except for in the bathroom. No elevator. Would not recommend.

Little to no English spoken. I was overcharged for breakfast that was supposed to be included in the Expedia price. The hotel billed me again. I had no way to argue due to the language barrier. There was nothing written in the description about a surcharge for dogs, that was an extra cost. A service dog at that. Breakfast was typical European, they did have scrambled eggs. In the description, it was stated toiletries provided. The definition was a bottle of sensitive baby wash. This was to be used for shampoo , conditioner, shower gel, and hand soap.

Hotelli on jäänyt 70-luvulle värityksen ja kylppäreiden kunnon perusteella. Meillä oli 2-hengen huone ja toiveena parisänky. Ensin saimme huoneen 2:lla sängyllä ja kun pyysin vaihtoa, saimme huoneen parisängyllä, mutta kylppäri oli n. 1;5 m2 ja lavuaari oli huoneen puolella. Huoneessa tilaa vei valtava vaatekaappi, jota oli hankala käyttää. Sänky oli 190 cm pitkä. TV oli pieni ja siinä näkyi 3 satelliittikanavaa. Parveke oli kiva. Henkilökunta oli ukrainalaisia ja palvelualttiita kaikin puolin. Aamiainen oli aika yksipuolinen, ravintola ei muuten ollut auki. Sijainti OK, hinta-laatusuhde huono. En menisi tänne uudelleen. Sinänsä paikka oli siisti, mutta nuhruinen.
