📍Schiehallion, by Kinloch Rannoch Views of Loch Rannoch from the summit of Schiehallion. The Loch is 15km in length, has an average width of 1.2km and reaches a depth of 130m.
A different view of Shiehallion for me. This time from the north shore of Loch Rannoch. Spent a lovely couple of days here in September, long drive but worth it for the peace and beauty.
Schiellion. From the Gaelic meaning Fairy hill of the Caledonians. Considered by many to be the dead centre of Scotland and the first mountain in the world to be measured by contour lines.
