"We stayed at De Jonker for a long weekend just gone. We were very sceptical about staying here to be honest, after reading quite a few negative reviews. All I can say is our experience was totally different. We had a last minute room change via email, so I think potentially our room was a deluxe suite. "We had a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom family-friendly option. This was a great base of operations, with a nice small kitchenette and laundry. The common area had coffee and games, which our kids really enjoyed. We had a 7-night minimum, but was perfect for our first stop and deep exploration of the city. "

"We stayed in a 1 bedroom canal view space. Very comfortable and good space to spread out after a long day of exploring the city. There's no a/c, which we knew prior to our stay. Thankfully there was a fan provided which made a world of difference in the comfort level. Be sure to use it in the summer!
