Hotel Dekat Schenectady Municipal Golf Course

"Stayed here for one night with my family. We all loved the hotel and agreed we’d stay again. Room was spacious and clean with lots of storage space and a cute seating area… sofa is a pull out bed. We had breakfast in the morning… it was as expected. I would recommend a waffle station or pancake station. We didn’t use the pool so can’t comment on it. Only issue… room did not have enough towels provided. We were four (Hubby, teenage son, teenage daughter and myself) to the room and were given...

"The room smelled like a very old ashtray. Not overpowering, but noticeable. The bathroom was small, but functional. One problem was the shower. The shower door would mot stay closed, the handle was in a spot that required you to fully be in the shower to turn the water on, and there was a metal tray on the shower floor that sounded like rain on a tin roof. Which was loud enough to wake my husband and keep him from falling back to sleep. Even with the bathroom door pulled closed. "

"The staff texted daily to ask if we needed anything. The kitchenette was well appointed and the room was spacious. The bath was spacious and clean as well. The pool was clean and our daughter was thrilled with the view of the trains passing through several times per day. The room was quiet and the grounds were lovely."

"We stay at this hotel whenever we have an early flight. Usually its great. This past time there were 2 rooms across the hall from us that had groups of guys going in and out of the rooms slamming the doors most of the night. It was quite annoying. We will probably stay there again because the location is perfect for the airport."
