Great place to stay on Ko Lipe, little cabins right on Sunset Beach. Staff were great, breakfast was good and filled you up for the day ahead. I’d absolutely stay here again. 😊

Booked garden bungalow but was upgraded to deluxe. Right on what is probably the nicest beach on the island. Lovely place for breakfast and a good breakfast it was! Staff are friendly and tours can be booked right at the counter at very competitive prices. Would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful stay in the second row back from the beach — the ideal spot, close to the sea yet peaceful. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly manager, Chicken, whose greeting set a lovely tone. Sunrise Beach was beautiful, with plenty of sun loungers available each day. Breakfast was excellent, with a great choice of cooked options, always fresh and satisfying. Our room was large and comfortable, giving us lots of space to relax. The location is perfect: right on Sunrise Beach and just a short, easy walk to Walking Street for shops and restaurants. A great stay with fantastic service and a setting we’d happily return to.

Would absolutely recommend!

Stayed 6 nights and could have stayed for longer! Loved the chilled vibes and the staff, they made us feel very welcome. Great location, quiet but near enough to the walking street where the restaurants and shops are.

Relaxing Beach Resort

Excellent chilled beach resort in a perfect location. Stayed 4 nights in a beachfront bungalow and would totally recommend this resort. The beachfront bungalow was one of the best locations by far! Breakfast was perfect with just the right choice and eggs cooked to order. 5 minutes walk to walking street area. Great beach massage at the resort. Big thank you to Chicken and the rest of the team - lovely staff always with a smile and happy to help.

Loved the location. Next to sunrise beach and less than 5 minutes to walking street The only issue I had was that the WiFi wasn’t very good in the bunglows at the back of the property

Beachside Bungalows

Pretty and charming beachside bungalow resort on nice beach. Big clean rooms, cleaned and fresh towels every day. Basic Asian/Euro breakfast. Wapi is on a beach where the long tail boats park up permanently. Can be noisy every time they go off somewhere and also this limits the swimming. You need to walk left up the beach for 10 minutes u get past the boats.

We really enjoyed the property and it's position close to the walking street. The restaurant is also very nice and well priced. There's everything you need:from beach towels, to diving gear, toys for children, kayaks. They are super nice too. I liked that the afternoon it has a lot of shade so you avoid burning and it's ideal if you have kids. Only minor thing I did not like is that the air con was pointing to the bed and annoying. Some friends reported the same in another resort, so maybe it's an habit. Otherwise best resort ever.

It's the second time we come to wapi in 2 years. It's a simple but great beach resort. You get nice bungalows with garden or beach. I prefer garden they are very clean and the garden too. Everyone is super nice and welcoming. They help you with usual travel stuff. Also it's great for kids because of the trees on the beach, you won't have to worry too much because that protects them from sun. We loved the calm and family like atmosphere. Often the Thai staff kids would join and play with mine. That's how it is and I like that. There are only 2 downsides : mosquitoes (but that was all of koh lipe) and the fact that the air con was pointing on the bed.

The week we spent at Wapi Resort was the highlight of a month long trip to Thailand! We stayed in one of the three beachfront bungalows. The resort is well situated on Sunrise beach and just a few minute walk away from the Walking Street. The room was clean and well equipped and had an amazing view from the spacious deck. The combination of large Pine and Palm trees provide plenty of shade alongside the beach and there was plenty of very comfortable cushioned loungers. The daily breakfast was great (as was lunch, albeit we only dined in the afternoon once during our stay as we spent most of time dining on the Walking Street). The owners (Johann (SP?) and Boi) and EVERY one of their staff we encountered were AMAZING. That is what really sets this property apart. They were very helpful with every aspect of our stay. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Great place

Beautiful location. Staff were amazing. I swam into a sea urchin on a different beach. Staff treated it within minutes and fixed the problem.

A bit dissapointing as the reviews were very good. No one contacted me to arrange pick-up, had to get my own way to the hotel with 2 heavy suitcases. The staff members were friendly, but failed at pretty much all aspects of service. The beach of the hotel is basically a parking lot for boats, you can hardly see any water, just dozens of boats 1-2 metres apart. Breakfast was terrible. Overall ok to spend a night, but really nothing special compared to the resorts on the northern part of the island where all the beautiful nature is.

Wapi resort

Otroligt läge vid stranden och mycket vänlig personal. De fixade oss gratis transfer till andra sevärdigheter på ön och extrapris på snorkling-utflykter. Under hela vistelsen hade vi gratis tillgång till vatten, masker, fenor och strandhanddukar. Frukosten var god.

Preis Leistung passt hier, Frühstück ist eher wenig Auswahl und der Zimmer Service ist so lala Boden wird sauber gemacht aber die Oberflächen wurden in 10 tagen nicht einmal gereinigt. Strand ist in Ordnung viele schattige Plätze wasser im vorderen Bereich eher Dreckig. Preise für Getränke im Hotel super und das was man beim Frühstück bekommen hat war auch Lecker. Zimmer sind auch in Ordnung. Positiv ist auch das man sich 24 h immer Kostenlos Wasser in der Lobby zum nachfüllen holen kann. Personal sehr Freundlich und Hilfsbereit
