"BEWARE! The pictures you see of the beach are not what you get. We were there for four days and two of them, the seaweed was a foot high, hot and smelly and went into the water so you couldn’t just step over it. I told the front desk, they said I was the first person to mention it (I find that VERY hard to believe) and the next day it was still there. I literally paid for the amenity to walk to the beach (like the one they had pictured) and we couldn’t even stand to be down there for two of the four days. We could have stayed somewhere inland for a cheaper price. I feel like we got ripped off totally. I tried contacting the manager twice and it’s been a week and he hasn’t returned my calls. There are plenty of other places to stay. Shop around."

"Nice little cottage style apartment setting. We enjoyed it. Convenient location, nicely updated rooms complete with kitchen. Relatively short walk to beach, especially compared to expansive beaches in public beach area of Siesta Key. Free trolley up to Village of Siesta for dining, bars, etc. Close to southern cluster of bars. Chair rentals guys staking out chunks of beach is not ideal but par for the course in Florida I guess. "
