This hotel has a wonderful pool, helpful staff and stunning sunset views from the pool or your window if you get a room overlooking the pool, of which there are many. We enjoyed the fact that the pool, which has outstanding views of the bay, has a bar and food brought to you from the kitchen, which is open until 10 p.m. The beds were reasonably comfortable, with decent pillows. The wifi worked well, and the breakfast, which is included in the rate, was excellent and served until 10 a.m. The shower had good water pressure and the hot water worked well. You can walk to the beaches of Sao Vicente and Santos or many nearby restaurants, pharmacies and supermarkets. The place is family friendly, with a small playground near the pool, but also welcoming to people of all walks of life, and the area is known for welcoming members of the LGBT community. When we were there, there were families with children and gay and straight couples, as well as singles. The area is safe to walk to and from the beach, but I would take an Uber, even from the beach if it is past 10 or 11 p.m. out of safety. Uber is easy to get and cheap. During the low season and weekdays, it's easy to book, but in high season and on weekends it sells out often. I have stayed here many times and will be back. Love this place!
