"An absolutely excellent stay at Nepomuk in Vipiteno. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was exceptionally warm and friendly, and that genuine hospitality continued throughout our stay. It has the feel of a family run hotel where people really care about their guests, rather than simply providing a room for the night. The location is superb, right in the heart of beautiful Vipiteno, making it an ideal base for exploring the historic centre and the surrounding South Tyrolean mountains. The building itself has been beautifully renovated, combining its historic character with a clean, contemporary interior. Our room was extremely comfortable, immaculately presented and clearly designed with considerable thought. The real highlight for us, however, was breakfast. It was genuinely exceptional. Everything was beautifully presented, fresh and of very high quality, with excellent local produce and plenty of choice. Breakfast felt carefully prepared rather than simply laid out, and the service was just as good. It was one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had for some time. What makes Nepomuk particularly special is the combination of a lovely historic setting, modern comfortable accommodation and exceptionally welcoming people. Carmen and the team have created somewhere that feels relaxed, personal and genuinely hospitable. We were only staying briefly while travelling through the Italian Alps, but would very happily return and stay longer."

"A beautiful hotel with lovely, comfortable rooms and very friendly staff. The overall atmosphere is excellent, and the property is very well maintained. Given its location, I would recommend having a car, although it is possible to walk into town (20–30 minutes) or rent a bike (reservations recommend). Of note, there is no air conditioning and the rooms can become uncomfortably hot, to the point where it is difficult to stay in them during the day. However, this should not be a problem for most of the year ;-) I would definitely return."
