Rooms could be updated with simple things, like a mirror in the bedroom, corner shelves in the shower, being able to contact the front desk on the phone instead of walking there each time for a simple question, concern, room ...

Catalonia Santo Domingo
It was helpful that the hotel has a variety of on-site amenities available (e.g., restaurant, shop, cafe and parking for a fee). There wasn't anything that stood out for a return visit. However, I will give it an A+ for cleanliness and staff.
