"Hotel d’escale pour nous. Situe entre deux grandes surfaces. Piscine un peu vieillissante. Type un peu motel américain avec des escales pour les routiers. En bord de route. Petit déjeuner et restaurant le soir à l’hôtel partenaire à côté . Très bon. Attention on parle un peu moins anglais dans la region( notamment le soir au restaurant. Conditions de voyage: hors saison"

"Loved this hotel! The rooms are spacious w a mini kitchen, some have a balcony which we loved, theyre super accepting of dogs, and staff are super friendly. The multiple pools are an added bonus, as is the Argentine restaurant on site. We will definitely come back. "

"Comfortable place. Two beds in the room, that was unexpected. Nice. Staff need to be more attentive when . Serving and at the bar. But free breakfast was very good. Great beach, one of the best I have been in Costa Rica. Affordable. I don’t know if they have any beach chairs, I didn’t asked. There are none available at the beach except for the next door resort which they don’t rent. There are different activities offered by other businesses."

"This hotel was quite nice. I really enjoyed the curtained space outside of my room. The fan helped keep the bugs away, but the noise from the road was quite loud. The location is off the main road coming into town, so there a lot of cars during the day. The pool was nice, but it was always very buggy around it."

"Nice clean hotel and great pool. Proximity to the airport was why we stayed here. There is a few restaurants, a brewery, and a mini super market within walking distance. The airport shuttle runs every 15 minutes, but be sure to make a reservation as it gets full quickly and most guests didn't realize they had to book a spot, this made for a chaotic scramble to get on at our reserved time."

"Had an amazing time! Beautiful views, delicious inventive food at the on-site restaurant, and outstanding cocktails (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). The staff are very kind & seem to all make sure to know you by name. As others said the included laundry service is a really nice feature, daily cleaned clothes for yoga and beach means less extra clothing to pack or dirty laundry to travel with. Morning yoga classes were wonderful. Their shuttle drops you at their sister property serving same food...

"The Sunset Shack was fantastic for our family trip to Nosara. The beach is super close, and the town is very cute. We were right in the middle of it all. Monkeys in the mango trees on the property in the morning, and iguanas roaming all day. The food, the staff, and the hotel itself were all 5 stars! We would love to return to Nosara, and would not stay anywhere else. Thank you Sunset Shack!"

"This was my first time staying at a boutique hotel, and I have to say, it completely changed my perspective on travel. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I absolutely loved the experience. Unlike larger resorts, there were no overwhelming crowds, which made the stay feel much more private, relaxing, and personal. The property itself is beautiful.
