Room was prepaid through Expedia. Called the front desk several times while driving beginning at 11pm the night of check in to let them know I would be arriving around 3 am and they never answered the phone. When I arrived no one would come to the front desk or answer the phone still. I then called Expedia who informed me they're checking cut off time is 3:00 a.m. Forst of all...Motel 6 advertises rooms available 24/7 which is why I chose that particular hotel knowing I would be arriving late. Second... I've been employed as a hotel night auditor and I always called guests with reservations that had not arrived yet prior to closing the day but apparently the practice of good customer service has nearly phased out completely since Expedia refused to refund my money so I paid for a room that I didn't get to stay in however the Motel 6 in Watsonville was happy to accommodate me at 3:30 in the morning.
