"We celebrated a special event and travelled as a party of 6. Excellence Punta Cana is a stand out resort. We have stayed at many resorts in the past in many countries. Our stay at Excellence is among the most memorable experience. The entire team right from the GM to the housekeeper goes out of their way to make your stay perfect. Food is awesome. Place is awesome . Also, recommend the upgrade to the club. Highly recommend !"

"Despite the Expedia VIP check in rooms were not ready way past the expected time. There was chaos at the front desk and we waited standing, sweating for over an hour. Been here once before and much of the same. Expect a 10 minute wait for drinks just about anywhere. Nothing for teens really except an arcade that you have to pay for which is not cheap and pretty limited. Food is the biggest issue. Breakfast and lunch are ok but dinner is bad everywhere. Was promised a massage for the extra long wait to check in that I never got then charged 10$ to check out at 1 instead of 2. Maid would come barging in and wake us every morning. No DND sign, no slippers and no chairs in the pool area unless you got up super early threw your towel down to stake your spot. Luckily my Spanish is ok but for some that might have been a challenge as well."
