Hotel di SantʼAmbrogio

"This hotel is a grand hotel built with other grand hotels throught Europe at the turn of the 20th century with the relatively new railroad providing comfortable "speedy" travel compared to ships and horse drawn carriages. The hotel keeps its historic charm with its architecture, antiques and paintings throughout but has been recently updated with all modern amenities. The staff is very professional and there is excellent room cleaning. The hotel has a commanding view of the Portofino Coast from...

"Beautiful room, excellent location."

"Our room was a good size, bright and we had a beautiful ocean view. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We loved the "old school" elevator. The restaurant staff were very friendly and the food was delicious and breakfast was ample enough to keep us going till we ate again later in the day. The location is perfect to explore Rappallo and also right across from the boat pier to explore Santa Margherita, Portofino and San Fruttuoso. Additionally, I had a car and the staff sorted our...

"Nice staff and great property with a beautiful view. Booked last minute and it was exactly what we needed."

"The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Mattia, Martina, and Aurora at the front desk were fantastic—welcoming, professional, and always happy to help. Breakfast was excellent and definitely worth the money. The breakfast staff were also wonderful, attentive, and very accommodating. The sea view from our balcony was absolutely awesome and made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a great experience!"

"Hotel is clean, amenities (outdoor pool) walkable to town & train station. Great views"

"The room was very nice well and pointed with a smart TV. However, we were there for three nights and we seldom had any hot water after asking the staff to take a look at it two different occasions the swimming pool look like a swamp. The outside of the property was not well maintained. The walls were so thin that you could easily hear conversations next-door. The view was spectacular. The room was very nice. However everything else was not up to par."

"The breakfast was wonderful. The location was great and we loved our stay and hope to come back again."
