"Kona Kai was a very nice hotel. The rooms were very clean and very updated. It was one of the nicer places that we stayed. The staff was very helpful and I didn’t feel like they were hovering over us to be sure that we were doing everything we were supposed to. They were very open and they made a lot of the facilities available to us even when they weren’t on site. The full kitchen with icemaker in the pool area was really very, very nice. We did not have reason to use the full kitchen, but it was good to know that if we ever came with Family, we could cook and eat and not have to spend so much money at restaurants. The only thing that I was a little disappointed in is that they offered all amenities in the office to update our room like coffee towels, etc., but they were unable to be accessed after hours when we needed them the most otherwise, this was one of the nicest places we stayed, and we were very happy with the facility."
"Exactly what we expected. Beautiful grounds, lovely room, and relaxing environment. Didn't disappoint, and we never strayed from the property, since both restaurants offered great food and lot's of other outside amenities."
"We enjoyed our time at the resort. Everything was great except very noisy when trying to sleep. We could hear the guests next to our room snoring and the people above us were terribly loud. Foot stomping back and forth yelling TV loud and more foot stomping back and forth. We're both exhausted from very little to no sleep
"
"It’s a very small beach view if you even call it that. One seat on screened porch you could see a sliver. They didn’t want air conditioner below 74 so it was hot and muggy. Bathrooms small and dated and a sewage smell if you sat on screened in porch due to the water feature. "
"This property was stunning. The grounds were beautiful. Beach view stunning. Staff was so pleasant and accommodating. Definitely going to be my go to the next time we are in town."
"Cute and delightful cottages. Friendly and helpful staff. Bicycles available on site and sooooo close to the water and the lighthouse. This is a place to relax and unwind. Unplug, destress, and let the rest of the world hurry by."
