Really nice hotel of 5 star standard very close to San Sebastián. Bus right outside to take you to centre. Rooms very comfortable, great breakfast, super spa.

Excellent all round, cannot fault anything. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff; light, spacious and modern rooms; and excellent food at the venue the times we decided eat at the restaurant. We didn't use the spa or pool this trip but this was not our first stay here and those too have always been excellent. Also very accommodating with our infant.

Great hotel beautifully apportioned. Room: + very spacious and the bed was very confortable. - lack of hooks to hang wet towels etc. Swimming pool only open during the summer - closed from mid Sep. Part of the reason we booked (small honeymoon) here was to have a few days by the pool had we known it would have influenced our decision. Location: + peaceful and quiet. not far by bus into the town around 20min on busy day and 15min when less busy. bus stop right outside hotel can use contactless by card. very easy to navigate. - Taxi we found a little trickier to find in quieter parts of town say Antiguo and buses do not run that late. Spa +excellent. - to access the Spa indoor pool and sauna comes at a cost which is notable when the outdoor pool is closed. Food +excellent both breakfast at the restaurant

Points to note for future guests: 1. The roof top pool is only available 15/06 - 15/09. 2. The Spa is an additional €30 per person per visit. It is not included in the room rate. 3. Dining is limited to the restaurant at the hotel and they do not do room service. There are no local options so if it is booked you are stumped. 4. Travel into San Sebastián is via the 28 bus (every 10-15 mins) or via a taxi (€15 each way). Journey time via the bus with waiting is realistically 30-40mins. The hotel is clean and the food in the restaurant is good but this is not 4* and should not classify itself as a spa hotel.

The staff are really friendly with a great sense of humour. Rooms are very comfortable. Situated a little out of town, the surroundings are very restful. Vented of San Sebastián is a short bus ride.

Welcoming professional reception, as were the bar and restaurant staff. Nice food in the evening and breakfast. Comfy bed. The building is getting a little dated and bits need replacing, but it would not stop me staying here again.

An excellent hotel, out of town but easy city bus

Great service and advice from reception and in the restaurant where we also enjoyed excellent food and wine in a lively environment. Rooms are very comfortable (including the bed) but ours was not well sound-proofed. It was, however, ok when you had considerate neighbours.

Fantastic

I was travelling on business so I didn't have time for the spa and the treatments but nevertheless, the experience was very enjoyable. The facilities are superb and the staff is amazing. They go an extra mile to help you. The cafe serves excellent food and the service is fantastic.

Far from the city, great facilities. Food was not so good, you are much better off in town. Staff is not well trained, our kid wet the bed and they did not change the bed sheets…despite us calling reception twice!
