"A nice hotel with its own car park that did get very busy but we found that staff came out to help when we struggled to find space in the evening. We used the spa and despite us being able to speak no Italian, the therapist was very friendly and did her best with a little English and made us feel at ease."

"The panoramic views of the hills and ocean were STUNNING! The building is a tad hidden and you must go up the elevator to reach reception, but it's well located near the historic old town to explore La Pigna which is a must-do. The room was amazing, very large like a condo, with separate huge bathroom a spacious terrace overlooking the city. Breakfast was comprehensive and very good."

"This was my second visit to the Royal Hotel which I was looking forward to! On arrival no recognition for it being my second visit- no welcome message or fruit etc in the room! Staff are great especially the pool team and the breakfast team! The room i had was the same as last time- I asked if I could have a late chexk out at 2pm and told no!! I still love the hotel but it could do better to recognise returning guests!"
