Everything was great, rooms are comfortable and in great condition. The only thing was the bathroom, it had a bad smell because of the shower drain, other than that it was great!

Lovely place and excellent location. Everything is close, and the street where the hotel is located is lovely as well. Our room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with all we needed. The HOLT staff was friendly and always available. Highly recommended!

The property had a lot of charm and was comfortable. However because there is no one on duty , when they lock the front gate you have to fiddle around in the dark to find the correct code to even get into the premises let alone the room. We helped quite a number of people who were locked out and didn’t have the correct code.

Super noisy. You can hear every single person and thing outside your room. The room was in good condition and looks like the pictures but no one is really there on site like a traditional hotel and the codes are tricky for the doors.Don’t recommended if you want to sleep without noise especially with the restaurant below. Would not stay here again.

Beautiful hotel and amenities in a Great Location!! Digital Check In was a bit complicated. We did the check in and submitted all the information. We arrived to the location and tried the Check In option at 3:30 and it was saying it was too early to check in. I tried contacting them through the number on WhatsApp, and wasn’t able to get a hold of anyone. It took about 30 to 40 minutes in order for someone to help out. They weren’t too helpful and weren’t understanding that no code was being sent to us and there was no option. After about five minutes, they were able to resolve the issue, but never responded back to any of my messages.

I would not recommend this property to future travelers to San Miguel - the location is good and the rooms are cute, but that's where it ends for me. On my first night at the hotel, I checked in after the requested time, and when I entered the room, there was a worker's sweatshirt on the bed, furniture was all out of sorts, and there was a mess. He told me it was a plumbing emergency. I sent a message on WhatsApp to the staff, and they didn't know this was happening prior to my checkin (because they are not on-site, they are virtual). I had a dinner reservation so I had to quickly change and leave my things. Then, I was told I should not stay in the room overnight because the plumbing was not working in my room. They offered a location 20 minutes outside of town. Thankfully I had a friend in the city, so I stayed the night with them. I came back the next day and the problem seemed to be fixed, however there was loud construction I was not made aware of, and I was trying to rest -- they were drilling and welding until 6pm. The virtual staff was also not aware of this. Finally, I cannot underscore enough how bad the room smelled the entire time I was there. Every time I walked into the room, there was a stench of sewage. There is definitely below standard plumbing practices at this property, because the smell was coming through the toilet and the shower drain. Nothing was ever done about this issue.

Peor experiencia de mi vida!!! Triste mi estadía en una temporada del año tan importante (día de muertos), lastimosamente no pude encontrar otro hotel para pasarme desde el primer día, en mi habitación había un olor a cañería todo el tiempo, no salía agua caliente constante, se enfriaba al minuto y había que esperar 5 minutos para que volver a tener agua que quemaba, no había forma de graduarla, pese a la alta ocupación por la temporada el hotel estaba vacío y no había nadie en el sitio para atender o solucionar, todo a través de un chat desde Estados Unidos Unidos
