"I grew up a few miles from the Madonna Inn and have always enjoyed it. We had a pretend splurge this weekend and stayed the night. I have to admit that a lot of areas felt old and dirty and look pretty haggard . And as a walrus the womens bahroom smells of hot wet sewage. Assuming as always it’s because of the mens waterfall urinal well. The vinyl cushioning on the wall and doors is black in a lot of areas. Just worn and old and filthy looking. The cushy vinyl chairs in the bar are all cracked. Things like this. They look awful, and are easy to redo. Taking nothing away. Just refreshing. It’s looking old and dirty. And very disappointed. It’s a lot of money, and people’s experiences aren’t going to be positive. "
