"The room was large and very comfortable for our group of four (two adults and two teenagers). We especially enjoyed the private thermal pool, which was an awesome addition. However, we did notice that some of the fixtures in the room are a bit dated, particularly the toilet. Updating these elements would significantly improve the overall experience. "The individual cabin style rooms are very private and cozy. Almost too cozy! We like to be woken up by the sounds of the jungle and these rooms with heavy curtains are perfect for sleeping in. It was both a blessing and a curse! I do wish they didn’t use BRIGHT WHITE lights. Soft lighting would have been better, and would go much better with their decor. Having a front glassed in and a back open porch was great to enjoy the mornings…. We actually caught a glimpse of a Howler Monkey going...

"The Hotel del Rio was absolutely amazing. The staff was super helpful in all regards from event planning to dining to recommendations on sights to see etc. The rooms were very clean and modern. Every morning they asked about whether we wanted service or not. The on site amenities were very diverse from sports to spas. Even our kids did not get bored. Lots of trails for walking. The rooms were very private as well, I am not sure I saw or heard another guest except for at the restaurant. ...
