Love everyone here! Hot water was wonderful. We saw Orcas, a dolphin, hermit crabs, gorgeous birds and baby turtles released….what could be better.

Hidden Treasure

Challenging in travelling to the accommodation mainly due to the roadworks and construction, however, upon arrival the welcome we received was first class. The staff were fantastic and accommodating, in particular the owner Heidi who made time to ensure we were comfortable. The location literally 5 steps from a fantastic beach was what we were hoping for and we were not disappointed ... at times we had the beach literally to ourselves. Great stay ... accommodation did need some maintenance and renovation.

This is a lovely gem set on quiet Coco beach. Perfect for when you want to get away from all of the noise and crowds of downtown San Juan del Sur or noisier local beaches. Loved the morning breakfast and fish dinners. Kids loved the pizza. Would have liked options for booking local tours such as night time turtle walk or local horseback riding etc.

Special place

We absolutely loved our time at La Veranera. This is a special place that makes you feel like you are staying with family. We had an amazing time. It is rustic, but that is part of the charm. Expect dogs and cats and interesting neighbors popping by. We were lucky enough to see baby turtles being released from the small hatchery next door.

Super Lage am Strand

Kleines Hotel mit nur 4 Zimmern direkt am Strand Playa el Coco mit Pool. Wir hatten das große Doppelzimmer mit Bad und Blick direkt aufs Meer. Es gab kein warmes Wasser und das Zimmer wurde bei 3 Übernachtungen nur nach Aufforderung gereinigt. Leider kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Familiäre Atmosphere und eine super Lage direkt am Strand. Ein SUV für die letzten 10km der unbefestigten Straße wird empfohlen.

Accueuil juste correct. Pas de salle de bain ni wc dans la chambre. Uniquement eau froide dans la douche. Pas d'eau chaude. Pour la climatisation ajouter 10$ par nuit sinon simple ventilateur Petit déjeuner à une heure définie par l'hôtel tous les locataires ensemble

Don’t hesitate on booking here! AMAZING! Staff was great, food was delicious, BEAUTIFUL beach right in your backyard. Staff arranged a fishing trip for us and horse back riding. We were able to go to the beach next door (Playa Flor) at night to see sea turtles nesting. We will certainly be returning! Definitely a hidden gem!

Beach front room was amazing. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of crashing waves was very relaxing. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and made upon request. The pool was clean and nice to cool off in, and you are literally steps from the beach. Couldn't have asked for a better location! The house manager was very kind and helpful with all of our needs, including helping us book a taxi to the airport. Thank you very much!
