Excellent super friendly staff. I felt very welcomed! They Even changed us to downstairs room to accommodate my senior mom who can’t climb stairs. Room was very clean and hotel location was excellent! Loved my stay here.

Wonderful hotel. Staff was great and the rooms were clean in a great location, right across the street from the main park and zocalo. The only issue was that the Internet was spotty at times and would be unavailable for short periods which is typical with hotels in older building.

The beds are very hard- like sleeping on the floor. Pillows were incredibly hard/firm. Sleeping on the floor with rocks as the pillow. Entire group of ten all made this comment. Staff is wonderful! Very clean

Great location and friendly staff. This is my hotel of choise when I'm in San Cristobal. However, after arriving late, we inquiered about our welcome drinks (expedia benefits). We were shown some coupons and we asked whether we could use them the following day because it was late at night after a long trip. The person in the front desk said no. This lack of flexibility was a bit unwelcoming and not very service-oriented in my opinion.

Hotel itself is nice, it’s located in an amazing area but it is not sound proof. You can hear every single noise from both inside and outside the hotel all day and all hours of the night. There is a night club close by I am guessing because the thumping and bass of the music ran until about 4am. Noticed that Sunday there was no music. If I had known I would have brought ear plugs or my white noise machine.

Hotel Ciudad Real could be better!

Location is really good! Restaurant excellent, the waiters were smiling and very helpful! The only inconvenience is that the water in the shower is not hot enough and the water pressure is very low!!
