This hotel is fabulous. Unique, beautiful decor, clean, quiet. Very helpful and friendly staff. Large room and bathroom. Great location, walking distance to the main plaza. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

A truly beautiful place that felt very Mexican with lovely local textiles, decor, and wonderful central covered courtyard for breakfasts. All the staff were very helpful and they assisted in arranging two of our best exploration trips in the area. The place is within easy walking distance of the central pedestrian walkways that cross the city and that are central to sites, restaurants, and local markets and artisans. One of the best places we stayed during our month-long trip.

Each room was exquisitely decorated individually with indigenous textiles and art. The employees were all kind and considerate, and went out of their way to help. Their food was outstanding. We loved it.

We loved that breakfast was included and it wasn’t continental style. There were quite a few options for breakfast and it was very filling. We also liked that there was a small bar. They also booked tours for us and offered to serve breakfast half hour earlier so we could eat before we were picked up. We would definitely stay here again and refer friends and family to this hotel.

This place was adorable, the decorations very nice and unique, service was great, plumbing works very well! Only problem was my room had 1 window in restroom so no real ventilation but will still give 5 stars and they offer fans.

Gem of a Boutique Hotel

What a beautiful, cozy, eclectic find this was! We loved it. The staff members were extremely gracious, the food (breakfast) was great, the room was so well done, the beds were great… we genuinely loved everything about it - zero complaints. They even had a parking area kitty-corner to the hotel where we could securely park our car. Loved it, and highly recommend it. Excellent boutique hotel!

What a peaceful place to relax and enjoy vacation. The location was ideal, just blocks to the market, restaurants and shops in the central colonial district. The staff was courteous and friendly, though limited in English. The rooms were unique and beautifully decorated and the breakfast was made to order. We would love to stay here again.

Great Staff; Attractive Decor; Delicious Breakfast

Casa Santa Lucia is an attractive, well-run and well-kept hotel in a good location for experiencing San Cristobal de las Casas. The staff is unusually attentive, pleasant and helpful. The breakfast offerings are delicious and varied. My wife and I particularly enjoyed the colorful, authentic, Mexican art and decor. We would like to stay here again in the future.
