Loved our stay at this little boutique hotel located in the center of the town San Candido. The room was neat and spacious, staff were all very friendly. The spa at the top with a surrounding view is a highlight of the stay where we can rest our body after long hikes!

Perfect Hotel Experience!

Beautiful hotel!! Lovely staff!!! I can't wait to come back!! My son and I came into town for the Krampus event and fell in love with San Candido and this hotel! The staff was so friendly and helpful! The Front Desk went above and beyond to help us with questions and getting around. The beds were so comfortable, amenities were lovely!

Amazing stay

I thoroughly enjoyed my 3-night stay at the Orso Grigio including the wine tasting and guided hike with Franz. Thank you for making me feel like a queen with all the luxurious touches. I was even picked up from and dropped off at the train station and given a transport pass for the duration of my stay.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The included breakfast and complimentary wine testing were nice and appreciated. When we checked in we had no sheets or blankets for the bed. We requested them and were told maybe. We never received any. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The room was uncomfortably hot and dark no matter what lighting we used. It was also very noisy due to nearby construction. I typically like older more traditional hotels. The bathroom and room overall were quite large, just uncomfortable, and I typically like older more traditional hotels. Also the area had very limited dining options

There are no words that can be enough to describe our stay here. Everything was excellent !!!!! First let start with San Candido, a town out of a story book. And in the middle is this hotel. We met the owner Frantz, who is everyday there greeting and make sure you have a great stay. Rooms are impeccable and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and professional and they are willing to help you with anything you need. Breakfast is superb. Very nice ambience, great selection and abundant. They include the renting of bicycles and we used them to ride 40 miles to Leinz in Austria. This ia a must do. Very close to all the mountain attractions. We will definitely come back.

We loved our stay here! Great location and drivable to various Dolomites hikes and sights. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. We got engaged during our stay and the staff treated us to a complimentary bottle of prosecco! The sauna and spa facilities were also a treat to use after our long hikes. Breakfast was also fabulous with lots of variety, quality coffee and made to order egg dishes. Highly recommend staying at Hotel Orso Grigio!

Es un pueblo pequeñito pero acogedor., muy bueno para descansar pues es muy tranquilo queda cómo 25 min del pueblo de Cortina de Ampezzo. Si quiere más actividad pues no es el lugar. El personal excelente y con muchos detalles.

Nice but noisy.

A great hotel with very helpful and friendly staff, particularly the owner who comes around at mealtimes to chat to the guests. The hotel is on the main square in the town and this makes it extremely noisy until the early hours of the morning. Deliveries for the nearby businesses and street cleaning are in full flow by 5am so this is a very noisy place to stay! And by noisy, I mean deafeningly loud. It is not the hotel's fault, but because it was hot and they have no air conditioning or portable electric fans, you have to keep the windows open... so don't expect a good night's sleep in the summer, unfortunately. There is a Tesla supercharger and free parking onsite which is very convenient.

Il migliore hotel che potessimo scegliere!

Abbiamo passato un weekend a San Candido in questo fantastico hotel nel centro del paese. Abbiamo ricevuto da subito un'ottima accoglienza. A gran sorpresa abbiamo scoperto che il costo del noleggio delle biciclette era incluso in quello dell'albergo, così come l'ingresso alla piscina di San Candido. Molto piacevoli la sauna e il bagnoturco all'ultimo piano, l'albergo fornisce tutto il necessario per potervi accedere (ciabattine, teli, ecc). Colazione ottima (c'era anche il miele direttamente dal favo). Per un prossimo soggiorno a San Candido prenoteremo sicuramente di nuovo qui!

Viva San Candido !!!

La posizione è davvero fantastica (proprio sulla piazza centrale e sulla via pedonale perfetta per lo shopping e nel mezzo di tutti gli eventi). Nonostante questo la tranquillità non ne patisce minimamente. Servizio impeccabile, molti benefit e una cucina molto ricercata. Completano il tutto il bar con i tavoli in posizione ultra strategica (area pedonale e scorcio sul Baranci) ed una fornitissima enoteca. Peccato esser rimasti solo cinque giorni
