Big rooms with decent facilities. Breakfast didn’t have a great choice and didn’t change from day to day, but was good quality. A small fruit selection would make it perfect. Staff friendly and helpful.

Great hotel with wonderful staff. Perfect place to relax and go to the beach or enjoy the fun at the Yumbo centre or others that are walking distance. The restaurant offer a nice varied breakfast and a daily theme dinner buffet which is good value

Great location, nice pool area and quiet. Short walk to the Yumbo center, and a great supermarket 2 mins away. Easy to get to the beach too. Breakfast is very good, staff friendly and I liked the room too. They were slightly slow on sorting out a drainage smell and the air con was broken too.

Enjoyed my stay here. I had booked a Junior Suite with a balcony but after checking in, I noticed my room did not have a balcony. The whole reason I booked this place was because of the balcony which was advertised as a feature of the Junior Suite. The receptionist, Elisenda Hernandez, was very understanding and sorted me out with an upgrade to the Junior Suite Deluxe which had a big balcony. I was very happy with how quickly she sorted this for me. The room was very clean, modern and spacious. The TV location was perfect as it could be twisted to face you when in bed or on the sofa in the lounge area. It also had a microwave, handy for reheating any food brought back from restaurants. The breakfast was included and consisted of a buffet. As a Brit, I love my English breakfast, so I was glad to see English breakfast options. Very pleased. The dinner options were not great for people who don’t eat meat so I ended up eating dinner elsewhere each night. The hotel is in such a good location. You have a supermarket just a minute walk away, Yumbo shopping centre is about 5 mins walk away and the beach is less than 10 mins away. The sand dunes are also only about a 10 min walk away so you don’t have to worry about getting taxis or anything. Loved the location, the hotel and my balcony! I would never book a hotel without a balcony again - it’s so convenient and lets you enjoy the sun in your own private space. Exactly why I booked it in the first place.

Very good location - spacious rooms.

The rooms are spacious and nice. The gym is basic but has everything you will need for a good workout. The breakfast is very simple. A disadvantage is that all sun beds are reserved with towels from early in the morning. It’s really a challenge to get a sun bed in the sun- the hotel should be more strict against this habit of the guests.

We loved that it's a recently refurbished hotel with clean and contemporary furnishings and decor. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the pool. As we were self-catering, it was useful to have cooking appliances and a lounge. Reception staff were friendly, one of the bar staff could have been more welcoming but apart from that everyone else was nice and helpful. Location is excellent, being a short walk to Yumbo Centre and the beach, also there was a supermarket just across the road and the bus stop was a 5 minute walk. Overall it was perfect for our 1 week holiday in Gran Canaria.

Booked here for a seven night stay.We arrived a couple of hours early. We were met by very friendly reception staff who informed the room was ready and could check in now as room was ready. Brilliant start.The room was 1104 which was big with a balcony on 11th floor.The balcony only got a small amount of sun during the early morning but still nice to in the shade in the afternoon or evening with a glass of wine. We booked half board and enjoyed our evening meals for five nights and ate out two nights. Food was very good and breakfast was lovely.The hotel ,rooms,hallway and grounds were spotless. all staff were friendly and a credit to the hotel.Will be back for sure.

Clean and convenient hotel which is perfect for the beach and jumbo center access. Very convenient for the bus network too. The front of the hotel and pool has a good sun exposure the back not so. The food for breakfast and dinner is good value with most of time great cooking. The staff are very good and welcoming except one very nausy and brusk member of staff who can make a hard beginning of the day. The hotel also spoil us on our birthday which was a good surprise. Overall a good experience and we will consider the hotel for our next visit to maspalomas. Thank you for the experience and meeting new friends

We specifically booked a room via Expedia with swimming pool views and we were assigned a room with the opposite views... Hotel said it was Expedia fault... Expedia said it was the hotel fault... We had to wait 2x nights before we could move to a room with swimming pool views and had to pay extra for that... No compensation was given whatsoever for the first t wo nights on the 3rd floor. Hotel staff is nice and the cleaning is good. When booking next time, book directly and not through Expedia.

Anamar Suites is a solid stay for Playa de Ingles however felt more expensive than it’s worth. However the suites are dated and INCREDIBLY dark due to a lack of natural light. Small things left this a semi-frustrating stay including no sockets in convenient places, slow pool bar service (45 mins for a grilled chicken wrap) and the constant smell of cigarettes in the hallway. The other guests weee generally older German couples and so was not very LGBT focussed (but this worked great for me as it was good to be able to separate the nightlife from day time pool hours) That being said, I would stay again for the convenience, but I’d look at all options.

Nice hotel close to Yumbo

I stayed there for 16 nights. Before I arrived I sent the hotel an email but I never got a reply. I got a room with no sun so I asked for a room with sun as my stay was a long one. They could only change me after 1week. Half of the rooms have sun, the other half no sun at all. The rooms are very nice. I had a junior superior so it was spacious with a big balcony. The bed is comfortable. The breakfast had a good choice, the dinner too. The pool area is nice. The personel is friendly except one cleaner who was a little rude to us.
