"This hotel was dirty and smelly to begin with, but overlooked that as I was just happy to have a hotel close to the event I was attending. Just checked out, and got charged an additional $93.25 in addition to the $100 deposit to stay. I called them, and they said since there was self tan and eye makeup on 2 washcloths, that they were charging me $150 total and I would not be getting my deposit back, and have an additional charge because of the towels. Called Sonesta guest relations, because they were actually helpful, and they opened a case and filed a formal Complaint against the hotel staff. No amenities, dirty dishes/ kitchen ware in the room. Walls are very thin and you can hear footsteps and noises from other rooms. Not the best area in SLC. Do not reccomend staying here."
