I just needed a bed and a bath for the night while traveling and Days Inn suited me fine. The room was tidy and clean, had no lingering smells, or stains of a previous occupant. There was a nice sized mini-fridge and microwave, ample space to maneuver, and easy to access for someone with mobility issues. If I had neighbors I didn't know it, but I did hear some signs of life the next morning around 9 am when I woke up. If I have to stay in Salem again at some point, I will probably choose Days Inn for a good night's sleep.

No one was at the desk for check in.

No one was at the front desk when I went to check in. I waited 15 minutes rang the bell and still no one. I was a tight schedule and had to leave to find another hotel in the area ASAP. I was still charged for a nights stay even though I did not stay at all because I could not get anyone to check me in.

You get what you pay for!

Have stayed here 4 years ago and was nicer and cleaner, always some one on site. This time it took me 3 visits and 15 minutes each to get a key. Only real contact was in am , a really sweet older woman was at desk, she responded very quickly to my needs. Housekeeping is awesome, thanks for your support while I stayed, that's why I tipped. Wish the actual owner's were more attentive, would have made stay a little better.

Customer service was good. Air conditioning was just cool not cold and needs work. Water bugs all over the floor. Room smells bad needs deep cleaned. But just an ok stay. Won’t stay again.

Walked in lobby-portable humidifiers and portable heaters, smelled terrible. Room was to be non-smoking smelled like smoke and mold! Stains on carpet on ceilings! My husband would not let me go into room! We turned our keys back in and were told you get what you paid for! Hmmm stayed weekend before at Comfort Suites same price as nd it was amazing!

Remodeling company needed 911

The whole place could use a remodeling company's help service was helpful and friendly.. the carpets at wrinkles in them stains on them the internet was slow and janky the TV's outdated let's just say this place could use some 10 to 11 care the people that work there are great though kind friendly and helpful

The experience was exactly what I expected given the price of this hotel. Everything in the room that was fabric was very dated ie the bedding, curtains and carpet. The furniture was more modern as was the bathroom vanity. The room had large stains on the carpet and smelled of mildew. Overall it wasn't a bad experience, especially when factoring in the price. I think anything under $80 per night is fair, but if I had paid more, I would have been disappointed.

Wasn't the best place I've been to. There was a roach in my room behind tv, the rooms didn't smell to good, the outside sidewalks are covered in giant spiders & webs around the lights... I almost walked thru a few.

We were there from Saturday until Wednesday. We didn’t get sheets changed at all. There were several big bugs in the room. Breakfast consisted of juice, yogurt, mini muffins, rice crispy bars, a gallon of milk and several cereals. You had to get a key from the attendant to get into the room. Attendant was away from the desk more than there. Needs updating badly.

This place is a real dump. Scary place!! There were empty beer cans and cigarette butts all over the place, lots of shady looking people staying there. I did not feel safe. There were roaches in the room and the toilet leaked all over the floor, and there were bug carcasses all over the bathroom. Super yucky. My non-smoking room stunk like tar and mold. The building should be condemned.

The only benefit to this hotel was the water was hot and plentiful. The heat didn’t work so my night was beyond cold. Staff wasn’t available in the middle of the night to switch rooms or help. The morning wasn’t any better when it was addressed with complete disregard for concern. Needs to be demolished and many safety hazards.

Staff was very rude. I asked to cancel. She said no. Curtains broken air cindion broken, room smelled really musty, roaches,bed bugs, burnholes on blackets and sheets. Very unsafe. Would really like a full refund. I had a very important wedding and had to move hotels duri gmy rehearsal dinner. Very unsatisfied

This is a basic, budget-friendly motel. Good restaurants and grocery store nearby. Convenient location for travel to several towns nearby. Large room and bathroom (I had accessible bathroom with grab bars), very comfortable bed. Saw the occasional dead bug, but just ordinary bugs that might get into any southern household. Used by out-of-town railroad workers while I was there, so parking could be a short walk from room. Overall a good value.

This was kind of a little rundown hotel, but I expected as much for the price. There were holes and the curtains and a ice machine right next to our room but no ice bucket, we had a coffee machine and sugar and a stirer. But no coffee. I would recommend bringing your own pillows. I gave this a two star rating because I have been worse. There was a refrigerator and a microwave. The pool was warm. But there was a pool. Driving into the front of this place. You thought you were going to an abandon building. But then you could see the open sign in the window of the parking lot.
