We need a hotel fast as our car broke down and the insurance company couldn’t find one... we were there two nights. Staff were really good, rooms clean a tidy, beds comfy.

Room is functional but outdated. Shower space is very limited. TV location is off centre wrt bed.
Disappointing in every way—failed to meet even the lowest expectations
We booked this room with the absolute lowest expectations: all we needed was a basic, functional place to sleep for one night. Somehow, it managed to fall spectacularly short of even that rock-bottom standard.
The issues started the moment we arrived at our ground-floor room. The front door was jammed so severely that you had to violently force it open and slam it shut every single time you used it. Once inside, we discovered there were no curtains. Being on the ground floor, this meant anyone walking past had a direct line of sight into our room, offering zero privacy.
The bathroom was just as bad. Without a shower curtain, a simple shower predictably flooded the entire bathroom floor. On top of that, the overall cleanliness of both the room and the bathroom was thoroughly sub-par.
When we brought these obvious problems to the staff, we weren't met with solutions—just apathy. We were simply told there was "nothing they could do," with zero offer of help, a room change, or even a basic apology.
A hotel room should at least offer privacy, cleanliness, and a working door. This place couldn't manage any of the three. Save your money and stay anywhere else.
