"We loved Bordeaux and of course the wine! The Residhome Hotel was excellent and had a secure underground parking garage for our car. The location was great. The tram runs past the hotel and was easy to use. Buffet breakfast was very generous and delicious. Easy walking distance to the old city, Cite du Vin and other attractions and historic sites. We highly recommend the hotel."

"A nice and convenient place with easy access to the city centre. Very well maintained. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. Would be improved through the addition of air conditioning, but otherwise, this is a recommended stay. "

"Le séjour a été convenable. Je regrette cependant la mauvaise communication avec la réceptionniste qui a fini par refuser le jeu organisé pour Pâques à mes petits-enfants sous prétexte que je n'avais pas validé par mail mais je n'ai jamais reçu de mail et je n'avais pas connaissance d'un mail qui devait m'arriver!!!... Grosse déception de mes petits-enfants, surtout que d'autres enfants ont pu participer alors qu'ils étaient arrivés après eux! Je signale également la vaisselle, on a préféré...

"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"Our second visit to Apparteo Bordeaux and equally enjoyable! The room on the top floor was spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable with a great terrace for outdoor dining - very relaxing and appreciated as it was 30C+. A lot of renovation of the surrounding area makes for a very pleasant stay with loads of waterside restaurants, the lovely Halles de Bacalan and, of course the Cite du Vin. Can recommend taking the No. 4 bus from directly across the road to the Château de Pape Clemente...

"Very clean (excellent), well located house with plenty of space for families or friends. Pleasant view on a small vineyard Convenient with large area to prepare, and store, food. Good communication too made our two night stay very relaxing."

"First of all it should be pointed out that the flat is in a senior citizens home. Slightly strange but unless you keep very strange hours then it's not a problem. The building is quiet and the parking is covered by CCTV. I|t's close to one of the major roads out of the city so if you have a car it's not a problem. Apartment is lovely and airy (no aircon). "After difficulty finding and getting to the barge. (I’d recommend contacting owners - you often need a code for locked gates to get quai side - they don’t give you this information so you need to request it) we found the setting beautiful. Loved the decor in the Art Deco room of the Barge. The hosts provide everything needed, even putting milk, butter and orange juice in the fridge on arrival which was a nice touch. "Loved our stay here. We had a very friendly warm welcome, great room, restaurant dinner & breakfast great, so convenient to have tram stop outside hotel for easy quick access into the city to explore. Pool was lovely and hotel has a great vibe. Will definitely return. "

"4 stars The room was okay—clean and suited for a short stay. The free parking was a big plus, with plenty of spaces available. For the price, the value felt fair. There were quite a few restaurants within walking distance, which was really convenient. The only complaint is that there’s no elevator, so we had to carry our heavy suitcases up and down the stairs. Overall, a good stay with just one main inconvenience"

"I really love this hotel. It is part of the Contact chain of hotels. The room was nice, clean and spacious. The public tram is only a few minutes from the hotel. Parking is easy and free. There is no laundry facility in this room, though Expedia lists it as one of the amenities. There is a laundromat in the shopping mall close by. Overall, La Provencale is great value for the money. "

"This hotel was great. A few bugs trying to figure out the parking garage but the staff was super helpful. The rooftop bar/restaurant was our favorite place every evening with wonderful views of the German submarine pens and the Cite de Vin. We drove the first 2 days to city center but walked along the water to Cite du Vin and found the tram station. So much easier to take the tram. Staff was so kind and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is also on the deck and the food was much better than I expected and the customizable coffee machines made my mornings. Highly recommend and would stay here again if we return to the area."

"We booked this after reading reviews from others. The accommodation is very simple but met our needs perfectly. It is very clean, has a comfortable bed, a handy little kitchenette which was well stocked with essential implements. It has a terrific grocery store right around the corner. Le Cite Du Vin is a short walk away. The tram was within a minutes walk and we were a quick ride from the old city. It was a stones throw from the waterfront and the bridge to the other side of the river was right outside the door. I would say this is an excellent, affordable place to stay and would do it again. Also a few tram stops fom the cruise ships. "
