"Despite the booking confirmation saying check-in was open until 1900, we arrived at 1615 only to find it shut until 1800 - duh - nearly every other hotel I've stayed in welcomes guests from 1500 at the earliest...to compound the problem, I received a text from the hotel the evening after we had left telling us what the check-in times were! "This hotel was perfect for our needs. Great room, great beer, great food. It’s hidden from the road and the approach is a bit worrying through the industrial units but once you are outside the hotel you get views over the fields. We would definitely stay there again"
