"Breakfast was very good. Super clean with parking included. Beds not as comfortable as some other hotels in the same price bracket. That’s the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5."

"Charming old hotel. Main staircase is a little wobbly and hallways needs updating. There was a sign commenting on updating in process. Staff were excellent. Only challenge with facilities was the super hot air temperatures 95F and no AC. Rooms were hot and staff did try to accommodate by bringing in a fan."

"We are ending a month-long trip through Europe, having stayed at 10 hotels in the same price range, and this was unfortunately our biggest disappointment. The location is unbeatable—the best in all of Mont Saint-Michel. If I were to return, I would probably stay here again because you simply can’t beat the setting. The views are absolutely stunning. However, I expected much more from the hotel itself. The property feels dated, and during our stay we had neither air conditioning nor reliable...

"This is such a wonderful property with plenty of space right on Mont Saint Michel. If you are planning a visit you MUST stay on the island. It is such a unique experience to be alone at night after all of the day-visitors have left. It is truly magical."

"The night manager was extremely rude, aircon in the suite was broken and over 40 flies dead on the walkway and restaurant! Over a 1000 euro per night, unacceptable!"

"We had a sea view room and it was beautiful. The room is small and basic yet clean but that is the nature of staying on the island. We felt very safe as you had to use your key card to enter the hotel later in the evening/night. Staff was very personable and helpful. We opted out of the breakfast but if you’re an early riser and want to have time to walk the streets before it gets busy, nothing else is open so I would recommend just eating there. Some helpful hints are a reminder to pack lightly...
