"It was comfortable and welcoming. The evening activity was karaoke and had a really welcoming and encouraging vibe. I enjoyed talking with the other guests from around the world. This hostel was mellow and I got a great night sleep. It was amazing to be able to walk to the beach! One downside is that you can’t park overnight in the Belmont lot across the street. I didn’t notice the signs and paid a hefty towing fee. My own fault. "

"This is a great property for adults and kids. There’s a lot to do, or not do, depending on what you want. We went for my 4 year olds birthday and he had a blast feeding the ducks, swimming, playing in the cove, and riding a surrey. We were able to invite others for a day party on the cove and it was really nice. "

"we had an amazing time at mission bay! staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. everyone greeted you while passing by which was nice. the room with the balcony facing the ocean is absolutely beautiful! the pools were clean and the watersides are lots of fun. the cabanas are worth getting. the best part is you have it booked all day, you can leave, come back, and still have your cabana! food at the pelican is a pricey but good! "

"The room was in great condition when we checked in. Check in time was accurate, even in the middle of the week they were very well staffed. Pacific beach was less than a 5 minute walk from my room. The parking structure was nice as well as we were able to park right outside of our door. I brought my service dog and she was treated with the utmost respect and friendliness. We stayed in a ground level room. Parking was easy, finding the place was easy. Tons of stores and restaurants within walking...

"Daily breakfast and coffee was a nice touch. Good area for cooking if you chose to. A bit noisy with nearby bars and because our room was near kitchen but they offer ear plugs. Check in staff were lovely. Steps to the beach and live music. Hostel itself is spacious with room outside to sit. We got a private room and only thing was the bathroom is set on a motion detector so the light kept going off while showering and with no Windows you couldn’t see so only suggestion would be a clear shower...
