Hotel Dekat Sagebrush

"Great breakfast!"

"The hotel property was clean and the room was clean and comfortable. The only problem we had was the sliding glass door in the shower would not stay closed. We stuffed a towel in the grove between the doors and it still slide open."

"bathroom vanity was broken, dated furniture with stains all over. Breakfast was included which was reasonable for the price of room, but overall, it's a 2 stars experience"

"Friendly staff"

"The place is old, no maintenance at all. 3 bulbs broken, dirty towels, dirty carpets, etc. Paid $600 for a double room you expect at least to be clean. The entire property can be considered a perfect place to host a halloween party. Place is filthy. Chairs at the dinning hall peeling off, stained walls, and I can go on an on. Stay away from this place"

"Nice"

"I liked the location, I didn’t like the property is not updated."

"A/C worked great, but rattled. Hot water was awesome, but the hotel is old and there is just no nice way to say it, but it needs updating and real maintenance, not just bailing wire and duct tape. Maybe for the typical price it is mildly acceptable, but we were there on a busy weekend, for Austin, and we paid 5 star hotel rates for a 2 star facility. The images on-line look nice, but....that's marketing, and the reality is it is probably a 50 year old hotel with some lipstick. At the end of the...

"I used the room only for sleeping, yet the condition of the room made my stay extremely uncomfortable. I found four cockroaches in the bathroom and near the refrigerator, and there was a gap between the headboard and the wall where a spider came out from. These issues made it difficult to relax, and I had several terrible nights during my stay."

"The front desk staff were kind and as helpful as they could be, the room itself was pretty subpar. The faucet in the bathroom was super loose, the bed was not very stable and made noises when I adjusted in the night, the AC and fridge were very loud and made it hard to sleep, and the blinds didn't close all the way. These items, coupled with the fact that it's right off the interstate, made for a pretty rough couple of nights of sleep. I expected that a suite would at least have utensils but...

"Broken faucet Broken light switch No breakfast food at all Filtered water dispenser broken Broken down car in the lot Homeless people meandering in and out Several power outlets not working"

"A welcome card in the room was a nice touch. Staff were friendly, gave information on local attractions both within walking distance as well as in the city. The pool area is quiet, few peacocks. One could easily spend the entire vacation at the hotel without stirring out! I will definitely pick this place when I return to Austin."
