"I stayed at Columbia Hotel & Restaurant and overall had a comfortable and pleasant experience. The hotel has a friendly, family-run feel and the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, which really made a positive difference. The room was clean, tidy, and perfectly adequate for a short stay. While the hotel is a bit dated in places, everything was well-maintained and I felt comfortable during my visit. "Disgraceful! Didn’t stay as there was no one at the property at 9:15pm arrival. Tried phoning them throughout the day to confirm and left voicemails. Zero response. 12:30 now next day still zero response. At 10pm a random guy pulled into the car park and asked if I was lost. He then offered me to stay in his home. Whole experience was dodgy. I booked and stayed elsewhere in the area later. "

"The room was so tastefully decorated, the bed was incredibly comfy. Dan was so helpful and very communicative. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it to others. "

"If I were to book again, I would ask for a ground floor room with air conditioning. The elevator is for luggage only, and a person with limited mobility would find the stairs (although very wide, carpeted and with handrails) a challenge. The restaurant is great for breakfast or dinner. The pool is very nice, heated and outdoors. Very helpful staff. The hotel is apparently a popular wedding venue, it was very busy the day we checked out."

"Very bad experience. It's not a 4 starts hotel, it's just an overpriced AirBnB, no breakfast, no services at all. Also rude staff who didn't provide any info about the property and surroundings. The check-in consisted in a rude woman who handed the key, rushed us into the room and left. They didn't even provide the wifi password. This is not the way to treat guests. To avoid at all costs, despite the beautiful location."

"Rooms very nice, breakfast starting at 8am on a Sunday is too late we had to miss it which was a shame. Also not able to book a late check out which again was a little disappointing."

"Room was ok, very small bathroom with limited facilities. The room I was in was next to the kitchen, lots of noise til 12 and then from 6. Was expecting a continental breakfast, but a full English was given which was nice Overall a cheap place to stay, owners really friendly. "

"Absolutely beautiful property in a gorgeous village! Chris the manager and James one of the bar staff went above and beyond for our little party, we are very excited about the prospect of returning with more friends and experiencing some live music :) see you soon!!"

"Rooms were clean and fresh and breakfast was very good. What wasn’t so good was that bath towel was damp, either from not being changed or not dried thoroughly. We found the mattress quite hard and sleeping was not helped by the people above us running round at 12:30 pm- assume it was children,"
